VIASPACE Energy Expands Global Distribution With Agreement and Order in Taiwan

VIASPACE ENERGY EXPANDS GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION WITH AGREEMENT AND ORDER IN TAIWAN 

PASADENA, CA.-December 10, 2007-VIASPACE Inc. (OTCBB: VSPC), a company that transforms proven space and defense technologies from NASA and the Department of Defense into hardware and software solutions, announced today that has entered into a distribution agreement for its laser based HS-1000 VIASENSOR relative humidity instrument with

Hephas Energy Co., Ltd of Hisnchu City, Taiwan (R.O.C.).  Hephas Energy has also purchased its initial instruments.Hephas Energy Co., Ltd. is a distributor of high technology products including fuel cell related products to both companies and universities in Taiwan. The performance of hydrogen fuel cells using a Polymer Electrolyte Membrane (PEM) depends on the moisture level of the membrane.  The membrane only conducts protons when it is hydrated or moist.  The moisture is provided by water vapor in the incoming air or hydrogen stream.  The VIASPACE HS-1000 instrument provides real-time measurements of the amount of water vapor in these gas streams.
